Moist and Flavorful Banana Bread

I love a good banana bread. It's an absolute classic and you can literally have it anytime of the year and it won't get old. It's easy to make + it'll give you something to do with your browning bananas. You heard it here: you can take icky brown bananas and turn them into a moist, yummy, (not icky) treat.

This banana bread recipe is going to be the only one you want to use. It's so soft, flavorful, and it just makes me feel so cozy and warm on the inside.

What you need to make this Banana Bread:

You can say that banana bread is hard to make but not this recipe. You only need 8 ingredients, most in which you have in your kitchen already.

Eggs: You'll need room-temperature eggs for this recipe

Granulated sugar + brown sugar: I always use brown sugar when making cookies (like my soft and gooey chocolate chip cookies) because of it's ability to make sweet treats nice and soft. It makes this banana bread super soft and adds amazing flavor.

Overripe bananas

Oil: Oil is one of the ingredients that makes this bread so moist. I love using oil over butter in banana bread, you're sure to notice the difference

Cinnamon: Cinnamon is just an amazing ingredient when making banana bread. It's what gives it such heartwarming bread.

Ginger: Ginger is what take this recipe to the next level. after adding this your banana bread will be the coziest treat you'll have during the chillier seasons.

Baking powder

Flour

How to Store Banana Bread:

Banana bread can stay relatively fresh at room temperature in an air tight container for about 3-4 days. After that, you're going to need to freeze it or throw away whatever is left.

To freeze banana bread, make sure that the banana bread cools completely. Then, cut the bread into slices (so that the bread is easier to thaw) and wrap them in around 2 layers of cling wrap or aluminum foil. Place the wrapped banana bread in a storage bag or air tight container.

The banana bread can freeze for around 3 months. When you're ready to enjoy them, take them out of the freezer and transfer them to the fridge or keep them at room temperature and allow to thaw.

Happy baking! :)
