Brownies are a classic in the baking world. This brownie has the perfect texture and tastes AMAZING. It's chewy, chocolatey, and fudgy ALL at the same time. This recipe results in thick brownies with that perfect crinkly top and crispy edges. It's moist and it's just that melts-in-your-mouth kind of food. Just going to bring up the fact that I am in LOVE with the flavor. I really think that cocoa powder, vanilla, dark chocolate chunks, and milk chocolate chips just work so wonderfully together to create that amazing, rich chocolate flavor that makes your mouth water. Anyways, I love brownies and if you love brownies, scroll down and make this, you will not regret it! Happy baking :))
Health Benefits:
Okay okay you're probably going to be like "Sarah, what could possibly be healthy about a brownie??". Well to be completely honest, brownies are not the healthiest option out there but chocolate is actually full of antioxidants and has been found to help lower blood pressure and could even increase the "good kind" of cholesterol. Plus, since we are using dark chocolate in this recipe, there are anti-inflammatory qualities. So as long as you are eating these brownies in moderation, there are a couple of health benefits!
A good brownie should have all of the following:
Crackly top
Crispy edges
Fudgy, gooey inside
Rich chocolate flavor (not as rich as chocolate truffles though)
Chocolate chunks (this is personal preference but it doesn't hurt to have)

Recipe Details:
Yield: 9 Pieces
Time spent
Prep time: 15 minutes | Cook time: 25 minutes | Total time: 1 hour
Ingredients
10 Tbsp Butter
1 Cup Granulated Sugar
2 Whole Eggs
2 Tsp Vanilla powder or extract
3/4 Cup All-Purpose Flour
1/4 Cup Unsweetened Cocoa Powder
3/4 Tsp Salt
Chocolate Shreds/Chips (Optional)
Instructions
In a medium mixing bowl whisk the butter and sugar
When it has reached a smooth texture, add the eggs and vanilla. Stir until incorporated.
Sift in the flour and cocoa powder into the bowl.
Add salt and your chocolate chips/chunks.
Fold in your ingredients together. DO NOT OVER-MIX! (Over-mixing your batter will lead to hard and tough brownies and believe me they won't taste very good).
This is optional but you can top off the brownies with some extra chocolate chips/chunks.
Heat up your oven to 350 degrees fahrenheit (176 degrees celsius).
Line up a medium baking tray with parchment paper and grease it using a little bit of butter or oil. (This will prevent the brownie from sticking.
Pour your batter into the tray and bake for 20-25 minutes. Then cool completely before serving.
Tips
Do not over-mix your batter. If you over-mix, too much air will be incorporated which will lead to a change in texture. It will most likely become tougher and turn more gummy rather than fudgy and chewy.
Using good quality cocoa and vanilla can determine how good your brownies are flavor wise.
Over-baking is seriously one of the worst ways to ruin your brownies. Even if it may seem like the brownies are under-baked after the 25 minutes are up, take them out!! Trust me on this one, they will continue to bake in their pan and will reach a fudgy (and completely baked) consistency.
